When Ricky Torres founded his home building company in 2021, he was adamant about including the word “quality” in the name. That’s because he views RT Quality Homes as a description as much as a name. It’s shorthand for the standard that every one of his new homes must live up to.
OUR STORY
Ricky has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years and has called Mustang, Oklahoma his home for more than 15 of them. His roots in the OKC area run even deeper, which have helped him foster strong relationships with the area’s most skilled and trusted contractors; like-minded people who view honesty and decency as integral to the way they live and work.
It’s all a reflection of the people he admired and followed into the home building business in the first place. He enjoyed the variety of the work and the challenge of learning something different every day. As the years went by and his roles changed, he had risen to the title of VP of operations at a national building company. It was a great job where he gained invaluable skills, but he found himself losing touch with what he loved about construction. He missed the hands-on building, the comradery with coworkers, and mostly, he missed making life better for customers.
